Watercliffe Meadow Place of Learning
I love this story as it neatly sums up the obsession so many Heads have with the most trivial nonsense (whilst ignoring any real problem.)
I don't reckon much learning goes on there either...
How ridiculous. This head teacher should be supporting the idea of good plain English, not the corporate jargon that is mangling our language out of all recognition. Why use three words where one sums it up perfectly? As someone who has to wade through press releases stuffed with similar stupid phrases and turn them into something readable I hope the local paper insists on calling it a school.

We got a newsletter recently from our local state school that refers to itself as a "learning community".
Excuse me while I vomit.
