US vs UK

Have a read of this article and imagine a parent coming into a UK school uninvited, swearing a bit and making some threats. (ie the average end to a school day)

Why can't I imagine them being chucked in jail and only released on a £400 bond?

I am in the proces of setting up an e petition on the website of 10 Downing Street with the purpose of abolishing targets from Education. It should appear within the next 10 days. Please look and sign if you agree with my petition.

I am so glad I live in the UK. Imagine living somewhere where schools have panic buttons in the classrooms and go into 'lockdown'.

When I was a lad, the only people who came into school swearing and spoiling for a fight were the teachers. Have things changed that much!?

Having had a child in both systems, I can say that the UK is much safer. For starters you don't need armed guards, panic buttons, metal shutters.

Putting it another way more murders are committed in schools in 1 state than all the murders of all types in the UK.

The question of how this would have been dealt with in the UK is not relevent because there are no police to come to the school and arrest such a person anyway. They are all in officers on computers chasing 'sanctioned detections'. Even if the one of two on duty in each town did arrive, the Courts simply wouldn't do anything in any case.
