If I walked into the canteen at work and came face to face with that big bugger, I'd be a bit more than "startled", I can assure you. Unless the meaning of startled includes "in need of new underwear, mouth hanging open in a silent scream".

Fewer!
'Fewer hand wringers', not 'Less'.

Is that 'gator for hire? I'd be happy to nominate a number of my clientele for his hor d'oeuvre platter.

Heh. In that part of Florida the schools have to teach kids how to escape from a charging alligator. They run fast but they don't corner well, so the trick is to dodge sideways.

Alligators and crocodiles are completely different species. Crocodiles are from the crocodylidae family, while alligators and caiman are from the alligatoridae family.

Basic biology and basic grammar lessons are in order for you, Frank Chalk!
