In fact I'm sure there are lots of things we could bemoan and could use to avoid us being self motivated and going out ourselves to other teachers lessons (regardless of subject discipline) to enhance or teaching and the learning of students. As a food tech teacher I am often observed by other teachers without knowledge of my subject, and if you see our staff room not much knowledge of food hygiene either.
